The Splash at Fossil Trace is located in colorful Golden, CO on 10 acres adjacent to Fossil Trace Golf Club. The Splash Aquatic Park has features and attractions for all ages, from 1-100 years old. Come for a day, come for the season, or come with a group – The Splash strives to create a memorable experience for every visitor.

Get in Some Laps
The Splash at Fossil Trace offers a large 25-meter lap pool with 8 lanes for lap swim, open swim, and jumping off of the diving board.
Looking for more fun?
Enjoy two slides depending on your height, ability, and mood! Take your young one down the tube slide, or go by yourself on a tube for 180 feet of fun. You can also go down as a single on the body slide for 151 feet of fun (height restrictions apply, see The Splash Safety Rules).

Sand and Sun
The Splash is home to the biggest sandbox in Jefferson County, full of interactive structures and shade. Feel free to bring your buckets and shovels.
There is also a fun and gentle Splash Pad for the little swimmer that need a break from the big pool!
Leisure Pool
One of the Splash’s most popular features is the zero-depth leisure pool complete with a play structure, small water slides, spray fountains, and a 500 gallon dump-bucket called the “Tipper.”

Seating for All
Lounge chairs, picnic tables, and shaded structures surround the pool. There are also grassy areas to lay out a picnic. The Splash offers a large bath house for guests, lockers for day use, and a pro shop for any forgotten items.
Snack Time
You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages (must follow City of Golden policies). Tipper’s Grill offers an extensive menu of grab-and-go and grilled food options – burgers, popsicles, fruit, and everything in between!
